While smart grid technology is an incredibly efficient method of measuring overall energy usage, waste, costs, and functionality, it is only as good as our end users and consumers. Smart grid technology developers and manufacturers can spend all their time, money, and resources improving and developing smart grid technology, however, enterprise-level companies, businesses, and home residents are the ones that will truly benefit. Enterprise-level companies and businesses want to ensure that smart grid technology truly provides them with the data and information needed for decision-making.
Best energy efficiency software USA

Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09944799071834705622noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3907169632847851452.post-15720545673300742592013-10-21T11:43:49.951+02:002013-10-21T11:43:49.951+02:00The meat industry is the single largest emitter of...The meat industry is the single largest emitter of CO2. It is 17% of the worldwide total and that is with the transportation of the meat/dairy-industry excluded (according to the UN climate panel). Of course, it's not like minks are raised for meat first hand, and then happens to be skinned and made into coats. The sole purpose of their existence is to be made into clothes - and the fact that the meat can be made for crab fishing is just a bonus.

Leather - in comparison to fur - is slightly better in the sense that the primary purpose for killing the animal is to get meat. Looking cool in your leather jacket and Doctor Martens shoes is just a positive side effect.

This reasoning does seem somewhat sketchy, but could be viable. At least as long as the demand for leather clothes does not exceed the demand for meat, so that the clothes is a biproduct.

But speaking of the environment - I'm sure leather (cows/pigs) is worse than fur (minks).Axelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15479790458373033329noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3907169632847851452.post-45455867889163346992013-10-09T12:14:02.767+02:002013-10-09T12:14:02.767+02:00Nice post!

I was especially appalled by the fact that the average (american) person after 6 months still uses only 1 % of the consumed goods after 6 months. I hope the percentage is better in Europe, that would be interesting to know. Thanks for sharing!
This summer I read a chatt on DN available here: http://www.dn.se/ekonomi/chatt-om-kopstopp/ (sorry it's in swedish). A woman decided to stop buying products that were not food or personal hygiene items. She claimed that she saved 10 000 (!) kr per month and was herself surprised by that. That is just a simple, and not very scientifically proven, example, but the lesson is that most of us (including myself) consumes a lot more than we think we do.
